One thing you will learn to find out is that the diamond and the setting do not always have to come as one package. It can be easier to buy a ring as you see it, but you can buy the diamond and setting separately and have a jeweler make your own custom ring. Every girl is different so there will be many different rings that will suit her. It never hurts to ask around. I promise you, the jeweler will do whatever they can to make you happy.

After its all over- you did your homework on her type of style, talked to her friends and family, and shopped around and finally picked the perfect ring, you're still not done. Planning the proposal will be the most important task so make it count and make it memorable. It doesn't have to be elaborate and over the top but it should be genuine.
